Camdyn Joiner |

Office Manager & LLLT

Elijah Hartman DATH
CAMDYN JOINER is dedicated to providing exceptional legal assistance. She is a LLLT with experience in family law, litigation, estate planning, business formation, and contract drafting. Camdyn has a multifaceted background with experience in several different fields allowing her to see matters from several different angles.

After working as a paralegal for a few years, Camdyn noticed a pattern of people choosing to take their legal matters into their own hands because they were unable to afford the cost of hiring an attorney. Self-represented clients would come to our firm trapped under a less- than- ideal court order due to their mistake, lack of understanding or coercion by the other side. They would then seek help to correct or litigate the issue, resulting in escalated attorney fees. Fees they could not afford. Camdyn's goal in joining the Limited License Legal Technician (LLLT) program, was to provide individuals with an option for lower cost legal services. She became a licensed LLLT in 2020.

As a LLLT, she is not an attorney but is licensed through the Washington State Bar Association to practice independently on limited family law issues, including divorce, with or without children, child support and parenting plans. Camdyn can assist pro se (not represented by an attorney) clients with completing Washington state pattern forms, educate them on the processes, and attend court hearings with them. She personally understands the emotional, physical and financial toll family law litigation can take and strive to be the soundboard of sanity and stability during what is a very trying time, even in the best of circumstances.

Definition of a LLLT per the Washington State Bar Association:

Limited License Legal Technicians (also known as Legal Technicians or LLLTs) are trained and licensed to offer legal advice and services to clients in family law matters without the financial investment of a traditional law degree. This flexible legal license allows LLLTs to work independently, in groups with other LLLTs, or as part of a traditional law firm. LLLTs are the only legal professionals other than lawyers who are licensed to give legal advice and own law firms.
